The month of October is the official "Play 4 the Cure" month! We hope to get as many field hockey teams as possible this fall to join the movement. Middle school, high school, collegiate, club teams are all welcome to participate. We will be providing a free kit to be shipped from Longstreth that contains ideas and promotional materials for raising funds for this worthy foundation. The free kit will be available after September 1st for team captains, coaches and team contacts.One kit per team.

| 2nd Annual Play 4 the Cure Indoor Tournament
$6045 was raised by the Mystx Field Hockey Club and donated to the Philadelphia Affliliate of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
Over 50 indoor field hockey teams participated in the all day tournament at the SportsPlex in Feasterville, PA. Mystx Field Hockey Club players donated their time as timers and helpers for the event. Thank you to all the volunteers who gave their time towards this cause. And a special and sincere thank you to our chairpersons, Sarah Andrews and Cathy McGowan. |
| Inaugural Benefit Indoor Tournament. 1st Annual Play 4 the Cure Indoor Tournament The Mystx Field Hockey Club sponsored the first annual Play4theCure tournament December 27, 2006 at the SportsPlex in Feasterville, PA. This first event raised over $5,000 dontated to the Philadelphia Chapter of the Susan G. Komen Foundation. |
